A detective, despondent after the murder of his wife and forced to resign, is brought back to the force when a serial killer appears to be taunting him and turns out to be superhuman.
The film sees a grieving homicide detective chosen to lead a task force in Los Angeles to stop a criminal organization. He soon unravels a conspiracy involving corruption in his own department.
