贺来贤人于2024年与曾合作出演《忍者之家 House of Ninjas》的戴夫·博伊尔（Dave Boyle）共同创立影视制作公司SIGNAL181，本片是该公司的首部作品。影片由博伊尔担任导演兼编剧，全程在日本取景拍摄，目前正处于后期制作阶段，计划于2026年在日本上映。
