Corinne Maillard est la directrice du centre de détention de Chénoise. Au quotidien, elle a tendance à couver les détenus ainsi que son équipe de gardiens plutôt gaffeurs comme une mère envahissante. Mais tout bascule lorsque son fils, avec qui elle n’a plus de contact, est incarcéré dans son établissement. Elle tente de renouer avec lui tout en continuant à assumer ses responsabilités.
