Taehwa receives a lung transplant from his father, who had committed a hit-and-run the night before the surgery. Riddled with guilt, Taehwa sets out to find the victim’s daughter Miji.
The film sees a grieving homicide detective chosen to lead a task force in Los Angeles to stop a criminal organization. He soon unravels a conspiracy involving corruption in his own department.
